Helena Czajka receives 2023 APRA Screen Music Awards nomination for Best Music in a Television Series or Serial.
Helena Czajka has received a 2023 APRA Screen Music Awards nomination in the category of ‘Best Music in a Television Series or Serial’ the score she composed for the SBS drama series Safe Home.
Safe Home premiered on SBS in May 2023 to great critical acclaim. The series is available to stream on SBS On Demand, and the soundtrack is available to purchase or stream on all music services.
The APRA Screen Music Awards will be held on 9th November 2023 at the Forum Melbourne.
Helena Czajka receives 2023 ARIA Award nomination.
Helena Czajka has received a 2023 ARIA Award nomination in the category of ‘Best Original Soundtrack or Musical Theatre Cast Album’ for her score composed for the feature documentary Unseen Skies. The album was released in 2023 by the record label BMG.
The ARIA Awards will be held on 15th November 2023 at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney.
The soundtrack is available to purchase or stream on all music services.

Tourism WA Campaign launches worldwide.
Helena is the Music Supervisor on the new Tourism WA campaign that launched in September 2022. Working alongside Nick Littlemore and Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun and their publishers and label, Helena licensed and helped create a new version of their hit song ‘Walking On A Dream’ for the campaign.

Helena and the Bluey Music Team have won Best Soundtrack Album at the APRA Screen Music Awards Bluey: The Album. Helena composed and produced two songs on the album - ‘Creek Is Beautiful!’ and ‘I Know a Place (The Creek Song)’.
This follows picking up an ARIA Award for Best Children’s Album last December. In 2021, the album debuting at #1 on the ARIA Music Charts, making history as the first children’s album to top the charts, and debuting at #3 on the US iTunes Charts.

Blind Ambition wins the Audience Award at Sydney Film Festival 2021.
Blind Ambition has won Audience Award for Best Feature Documentary at the 2021 Sydney Film Festival. This is the film’s second major win, after also winning the Audience Award for Best Feature Documentary at Tribeca Film Festival in 2021.
The film will be released in cinemas internationally in early 2022.
Bluey The Album is nominated for an ARIA Award.
Bluey The Album has been nominated for Best Children’s Album at the ARIA Awards 2021! Winners announced at the ceremony on 24th November.

Feature documentary Unseen Skies will receive its Australian premiere at Sydney Film Festival in November 2021. Helena Czajka utilised NASA’s library of recorded sounds from space to create an immersive film score that connects the audience to artist Trevor Paglen’s vision.
The Department premieres on SBS.
Feature documentary The Department, scored by Helena Czajka and directed by Sascha Ettinger Epstein, will premiere on Australian TV on 9th October. It will also screen at Sydney Film Festival in November 2021.
