Synopsis

The Whiteley Art Scandal delves into the greatest case of art fraud in Australian history. It takes a rare, behind the scenes look at the glamorous and high-stakes world of art dealing.

EPISODE 1
In 2009, car salesman turned art dealer, Steve Nasteski, buys what he believes to be a genuine painting by acclaimed Australian artist Brett Whiteley. But when suspicions are raised about its authenticity, a chain of events leads to a sensational trial in Melbourne.

EPISODE 2
Evidence appears to mount against the two men accused of creating fake Whiteleys - but a sensational piece of evidence casts doubt on the case against them.
